Would you like more discoverability on Substack? What do you write about - care to share?
When we hit publish on these Substack posts, we’re all doing the same thing… betting (or hoping) that someone else, somewhere, cares about what we have to say.
But the what changes everything. For some, Substack is a filing cabinet for their professional expertise. For others, it’s a therapist’s office, a place to sort through the messy, non-linear reality of being alive.
So, I want to turn the microphone on you.
If you’re a writer on this platform (which I’m assuming everyone is), I’d like to know: What do you write about, and why now?
Are you trying to document & share your complex life? Are you trying to help others with your expertise? Are you trying to grow your small business or services? Are you translating complex AI jargon into human language? Are you writing the comic or book you’ve always had in your head?
I’m genuinely interested in the “Why”! Not just the topic (though I’d love to hear the specifics) - but the motivation. What was the moment you said, “I’m going to start a newsletter and start writing on Substack” - and what keeps you coming back to that blinking cursor when the initial excitement fades?
Now Onto The Discoverability Part of Substack
